Below is a picture of the Swiftpage for ACT! Plug-In,
numbered with corresponding explanations below for your convenience.

1. Current Contact: Will show who is your current contact within your ACT! database

2. Options of who to send your email to:

Send to Current Contact : Will send email to your current contact listed.
Send to Current Lookup : If you do a "Lookup" within your ACT! database, this will send an email to everyone in that lookup.
Send to All Contacts : Will send to all of the contacts in your ACT! database, but this is limited to how many people your account plan is for.
Selected Group : Send an email to a group within ACT!
Selected Company : Will send an email to a company that you have saved within ACT! (this only works in 2005 or later).

3. Email Template: Choose the Swiftpage template from your personal template library that you would like to send.

4. Import: You may import an HTML page to send out through Swiftpage. When you click on this button, you will be prompted to find your HTML document and any images that may accompany it.

5. Edit: Logs you into the Swiftpage online editor so you can edit templates, view reports, change your user profile, create and edit surveys.

6. Preview Template: Option to preview the template selected.

7. Email Subject: Type in the subject line you want to include with this email.

8. Personal Message: Option to type in a Personal Message if the selected template has a [[SpePersonalMessage]] tag. Preview shows the user the template with the personal message inserted.

9. "SwiftNotify": Option to receive a read receipt of an email you send out. The user is not required to respond the read reciept. Only valid when sending out fourteen or fewer emails.

10. "Copy to Yourself": Option to receive a copy of the email in your inbox. Only valid when sending out fourteen or fewer emails.

11. Send Now : Send your selected template to the selected contact(s) right now.

12. Schedule Send: Schedule your email campaign to go out on a specified later date and time.

13. Send As (Team Service Level Feature Only) : “Send As” can be used to send email as other users in your ACT database. Choose Sender: Select the ACT! user you would like to “send as” from the drop down menu, or choose to send as the ACT! “Record Manager”, or as a Custom Field you have created. Choose your delivery time, then enter your Account Password (the account manager should have the Account password). Please note: You may “Send As” any ACT! database user that is also setup as a user on your Swiftpage account. If you have other ACT! database users, but they do not show up in the drop down menu, then they will need to be added to your Swiftpage account. If you have other Swiftpage users, but they do not appear in this drop down, then each Swiftpage user will need a corresponding ACT! database profile.

The Send As Summary lets you know how many emails are being Sent As specific Swiftpage users. The “Name” field near the bottom allows you to give your email campaign a title to view later. The Name field is primarily used after you send your email for creating call lists. The Name field allows you to send similar email campaigns to different groups of people.

14. Cancel: Cancel sending your email; will close the Swiftpage plug-in.

15. Account: Will show current Swiftpage Account information. The “Account” button gives you access to your account information.  Click here to upgrade your account, or Add a Swiftpage UserID.  To add a Swiftpage UserID, you must have another ACT! user in you database.  If you have an ACT! database user that need to have a Swiftpage UserID, click the Add User button, and fill in the appropriate fields.

16. Reports: Launches a web browser giving you access to your "online" account. Here you are able to view reports of any campaigns you have sent in the last 2 months.

17. Swiftpage List Builder: Provides a list of all your List Builder surveys created, and if you have implemented a list builder survey on your website or in an email, this allows you to create the new contacts in your ACT! database.

18. Get Results: After you send out a Swiftpage campaign, data is brought back into each contact's history. This data includes a score, status, and open and click data. Get results allows you to save these items to your existing contacts ACT! history.

To successfully Get Results into history follow these steps:
1. Ensure the “Save in History” box is checked. You can access this check box by clicking the “Account” button in the Swiftpage “E” menu.
2. Send an email campaign.
3. Results are updated nightly, so you must wait one day.
4. Click on the “Get Results” button.
5. If anyone has clicked on your emails, you can select the results by clicking the check box next to the data you want, then click submit.
6. Results will be downloaded into your ACT! history under each contact that opened or clicked in your emails.

19. Import Survey Data: Generally you can create a Swiftpage Survey and have people fill it out. With the Import Survey Data feature you can then import those questions and answers, mapping them to any field within ACT! or your contacts.
